Our History

Formally known as Comfort Homes R Paroz Constructions, Comfort Homes (QLD) Pty Ltd has come a long way since it's inception in 1985.

A second generation, family run business, it is proudly Australian owned & debt free. Comfort Homes continues to grow significantly based on our reputation for excellence in home design, quality constructions, dependability and superior customer service.

Comfort Homes was founded on old fashioned values such as honesty, integrity and respect. At Comfort Homes we take great pride in every home we build and are dedicated to building with more care, craftsmanship and passion. We take more care at every step of the process - that's why we produce homes of the finest quality.

Comfort Homes was originally established on the Sunshine Coast and operated successfully for 22 years by multi award winning builders Russell and Yvonne Paroz & upon their retirement, closed down Comfort Homes on the Sunshine Coast.

Ricky then commenced operation of a new, more modern Comfort Homes in Bundaberg in 2007. Ricky has made it his goal to build top quality, functional & cost-effective homes at exceptional prices, and with inclusions that other builders would consider an extra!

We provide 'Fixed Price' quotes with a full list of inclusions so our clients know exactly what their home will cost, before going to contracts or commencing construction. Our Team

RICKY PAROZ

Ricky Paroz, the Managing Director and Builder of Comfort Homes (QLD) Pty Ltd, has more than 30 years experience in the building industry. Ricky has two teenage sons so his spare time & holidays are always packed with fun & adventure.

Ricky has extensive knowledge & experience in all aspects of the industry from basic trade exposure to the roles of site manager, project manager, company estimator & construction manager, design & construct manager.

Ricky is a QMBA Multi Housing & Construction Award winner himself and for Ricky, designing & creating homes isn't as simple as bricks & mortar, it is about sharing his passion for the industry and making people's dreams a reality.

Being second generation to the building industry, Ricky has always had a clear understanding of the importance of quality workmanship, customer service & communication and has developed Comfort Homes into a multi award winning business.

Ricky is not only the Builder but also the Supervisor & Leading Hand Carpenter on every project therefore all Comfort Homes' clients have the confidence that their build will run smoothly & Ricky is there every day to ensure top quality at all stages of the build. Our clients are also not restricted from coming onto site as he is there and can take them through at any stage to inspect the progress of their home and answer any questions they may have.

AMANDA PAROZ

For the past 15 years Amanda has worked 'behind the scenes' and added her patience and expertise to the Comfort Homes office. As Ricky's wife & mother of two teenage boys, Amanda's life is never dull.

She capably balances the important project administration and accounting tasks, sales, quoting and contracts. Whether it be overseeing the business, or keeping up to date with Comfort Homes website & social media pages, Amanda ensures that the company keeps in touch with the community and maintains it's reputation throughout the Bundaberg & surrounding areas.

Amanda is passionate about customer service, has an eye for detail and is happy to work directly with clients when needed - offering input on plan designs & functionality as well as providing support for project management, interior design and colour schemes.

In her spare time, Amanda loves the beach, going camping & getting out in the 4WD for an adventure with her family.

Ricky & Amanda are supported by a local team of professional suppliers & tradesmen, selected specifically for their reliability, quality workmanship, attitude towards our work and their ability to be cost effective. We believe that each comfort home is a team effort and the quality homes we produce wouldn't be possible without their expertise. Over the years we have weeded through quite a few different tradesmen and will only employ the very best in tradesmen their field.

By using the same subcontractors on each project, we are able to closely monitor and control quality. This assures the highest standards in terms of materials, workmanship and service and this way we can continue to grow, be competitive and produce even better quality homes every time.

We believe in the view 'pay on time and they will produce their finest work'.
